The Town of Colchester relies on its citizens to help in many ways. Our current volunteer opportunities include a Representative with Channel 17, a Board of Ethics member, a Cemetery Commission member, and positions with Colchester Rescue; more information is included below. Channel 17 Representative for Colchester
The Town of Colchester has an opening for a Representative with Channel 17. The volunteer position will need to attend monthly meetings, held on the third Thursday at 5 pm. The meetings take place at Channel 17 headquarters, located at 294 North Winooski Avenue in Burlington. They typically last around one and a half hours. Board of Ethics Member
The Colchester Board of Ethics is looking for a new member. There are no regular meetings for this Board, but they do meet intermittently when an issue comes up. For more information, contact June Campbell at 264-5509.
Cemetery Commission Members
The Colchester Cemetery Commission is looking for two new members. The Commission meet once a month, typically on the second Wednesday at 4 pm. Download an application here or call 264-5509 for more information.
Colchester Rescue Squad
Colchester Rescue is dedicated to improving the health and well being of the community, by providing the highest quality emergency medical services to our patients and preventing illness and injury through public education.
